Message So, I was removing my timing belt covers tonight and one of the stubby little screws fell out of my ratchet on the drivers side, and I am 90% down into the bottom of the lower timing belt cover.

I am so not stoked to pull the crank pulley just to get the screw out. So I have two questions:

1: Is it even possible for that screw to fall down there from that location?
2: Is it a big deal if it did? I'm envisioning it bouncing around and hitting the timing belt, generally making a shitload of noise and wearing holes in the belt.

Am I really gonna have to pull the crank pulley to get a bolt out?
